The Final Touch for Unrivaled Sharpness

A critical final step in any sharpening process, stropping doesn't just remove burrs from the cutting edge of your blade - it also subtly polishes the edge for enhanced sharpness and smoother cuts.

Premium Materials & Design

Our strop features robust, high-quality leather, specifically selected for its hardness and suitability for stropping and belting. This leather is inlaid 0.5mm into the strop for improved stability and a refined aesthetic edge. The strop is equipped with four silicone feet to provide optimal stability during use, whether you’re using it on a countertop or any other surface. Its compact size and comfortable hold also make it easy to use in hand.

Enhanced With Polishing Compound

Each strop comes with a dose of white polishing compound. This compound is designed to polish the blade's edge further, however, remember that the primary goal of stropping is to remove the burr. Apply the compound sparingly - think frost rather than snowdrift. A little truly goes a long way.

How to Use:

  1. Place the strop on a flat surface and apply a small amount of the paste. It's fine if the application isn't perfectly even.
  2. Hold your knife by the spine with the edge facing away from you.
  3. Place the knife edge on the strop, aiming to maintain the edge angle, or use an angle slightly steeper to aid in burr removal.
  4. With gentle strokes, pull the knife towards you. Repeat this a few times on each side.
  5. Test the knife on a piece of paper, checking for any remaining burr, and repeat the process if necessary.
